Sustainability
Experiences are temporary; their footprint shouldn't be. We're putting a heavy focus on how we build, ship and run our work.
We’re not 100% there yet. But it’s one of our biggest focuses, in every build, every shipment and every show we run.
We choose recycled, recyclable and certified materials wherever the build allows, and source as close to the site as we can.
Screens, sensors, computers and custom electronics go back into stock after a show and into the next build, instead of into a skip.
Modular builds that pack flat, fewer and fuller shipments, local partners and crews instead of flying everything in.
We measure what our installations draw, then tune hardware, content and schedules so they use less energy while they run.
We support organisations like OceanX, which explore the ocean and bring what they find to the rest of us. We’ve joined several OceanX tours aboard OceanXplorer: running experiments in the wet labs, supporting the submarine expeditions and building haptic installations.

Away from screens and sensors, we run a pizzeria in Singida, Tanzania, attached to the Upendo Home for Street Children. It gives young people a real workplace once they have to leave the home, baking for the local community, from long lunches by the lake to fresh pizza for the kids.

We support One Tree Planted and its reforestation projects around the world.
We're working towards carbon neutral operations: cutting what we can first, then offsetting what we can't avoid yet.

A forest of spirits on 16K of LED, brought to life by visitors playing together from their phones.

Visitors restore a lost ecosystem together and uncover endangered and extinct Southeast Asian wildlife.

Real ocean science as a team adventure, built with scientists and activists. Its mission is protection: of the ocean and the ecosystems beneath it.
An ocean dive in Unreal, built in three days at our game jam, with the cockpit made in our Fabrica.

A speedboat game steered by digging through real sand, tracked with Azure Kinect.
